The Construction Student Association

The Construction Student Association (CSA) at Texas State University serves to establish a link between the students and professionals within the industry. From Industrial to Residential Construction, CSA represents all aspects of construction to facilitate learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

Members' meetings are generally held twice a month. CSA frequently holds members meetings with company guest speakers , workshops, job site tours, social event’s and continuing education training.

Every year, CSA hosts our annual golf tournament that serves as as a great networking opportunity for our student members.

With continually increasing participation from our industry partners, teams consist of two students and two construction professionals. The tournament provides an opportunity for students to network and possibly obtain internships or full-time positions.

We expect 25+ employers to attend every year! This is an opportunity you do not want to miss out on. No matter your level of golf experience, you are highly encouraged to participate in CSA’s golf tournament.

Getting involved in any of our competitions is a great opportunity to get hands on learning about the industry works. This will better sharpen your knowledge for internships and future careers as well build your resume.
